The Eagle Arc 980X is a premium low-alloy ER120S-G MIG welding wire in .030" (0.8 mm) diameter on an 11 lb spool. Honda-approved since June 2019 (Body Repair News Bulletin 12221 Version 2), it is the direct replacement for the discontinued Bosch DS980J. German-made and copper-coated for superior feedability and arc stability, it delivers tensile strength exceeding 140,000 PSI (980+ MPa) with high nickel, manganese, silicon, and molybdenum content for tough, crack-resistant welds on advanced high-strength steels.
