The Bohler Union X96 0.8mm MAG Welding Wire – Honda-approved high-tensile MIG wire designed for welding high-strength (HSS) and ultra-high-strength steel (UHSS) parts from 590-980 MPa, including MAG butt welding up to 780 MPa and plug welding up to 980 MPa. This 11 lb spool (2.5X larger than the previous DS980J 4.4 lb roll) replaces the discontinued DS980J under Honda's ProFirst Certification Program, ensuring weld joints meet or exceed panel tensile strength for proper structural repairs on Honda/Acura vehicles with zero modifications.
