Description
The GAT-SHP-100 6" Shunting Pliers provide essential panel grounding for squeeze-type resistance spot welding (STRSW). When E-Coat or non-conductive coatings are present on mating surfaces, these 150-amp pliers create a low-resistance path that allows strong consistent welds while preserving factory E-Coat. Simply remove coating from outer surfaces only, position the shunt, and weld adjacent — the current burns away E-Coat at the mating surface.
